LOGOS Campus Ministry is an initiative of the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA) at York University in Toronto, since 2001. The CRCNA traces its roots from the Protestant Reformation of the 16^th century, hence, the word, “Reformed”.

LOGOS Campus Ministry welcomes and ministers to all Christians who follow the risen Lord Jesus Christ and adhere to the Christian faith (historically summarized, for instance, in the Apostles’ Creed). Hence, it is a non-sectarian, ecumenical, Reformed Christian ministry.

Our mission is to be an ambassador of Christ to York University and related communities by providing Christian resources and services in order to:

• Foster communities that embrace God’s love, grace, justice and peace;

o   Firstly, a community around the student club, Leadership, Culture & Christianity;

o   Secondly, influencing the religious/Christian communities at York and surrounding;

o   Thirdly, influencing the York U community;

o   Fourthly, indirectly influencing the broader Christian communities and the world.

• Grow Christian leaders shaped by such communities;

o   Leaders filled with Christ’s humble servant leadership heart;

o   Leaders who embrace God’s love, grace, justice and peace;

o   Leaders equipped with a Biblical faith and worldview; and

• Promote a Christian faith and worldview to shape such communities and leaders.

o   Christian faith that is open-hearted to human diversity;

o   Reformed world and life view rooted in the Biblical narrative;

o   Critical thinking that engages relevant socio-cultural thought.
